Co-streaming feature ‘Go Live Together’ coming to YouTube
Co-streaming feature ‘Go Live Together’ coming to YouTube with guests for video or content creators (creators). Through this feature, creators will get a chance to add a guest to live. YouTube made the announcement on the Creator Insider channel and in a blog post. But co-streaming can only be done from mobile phones. This feature cannot be used on the desktop.
Initially, a limited number of creators will be able to use the Go Live Together feature. YouTube plans to open the feature to other creators at a later date.
Creators will have the opportunity to schedule live streaming with guests. This can be done via desktop or mobile. But mobile phones must be used during live streaming. Within a few weeks, some creators will see the Go Live Together option at the bottom of their accounts. Live streaming requires creators to set title, description, monetization settings, thumbnails, and visibility settings. Guests can be invited to the live stream after selecting the Invite a co-streamer option.
If the advertisement is displayed on this live stream, the organizer or host will get the money. And the live stream can be seen only on the host’s channel.
Recently, TikTok and TWICE have launched a co-streaming feature. Up to five guests can join this live stream feature of TikTok.
