Just a few days ago, Google’s Pixel 7 Pro received the title of DxoMark’s best camera, along with Honor Magic 4 Ultimate. However, in just a few days, a Huawei phone has claimed the best camera phone. Talking about the Huawei Mate 50 Pro phone which was recently released in the global market.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro smartphone is giving a big surprise in the camera
The Mate 50 Pro scored 149 in DxOMark’s smartphone camera test thanks to its 50-megapixel + 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel triple camera. The phone has OIS, 3.5x optical zoom, and variable aperture technology. Huawei Mate 50 Pro tops the benchmark.
According to DxOMark, the Mate 50 Pro has “pleasant” color reproduction and the phone’s bokeh is quite good, and the phone can retain good details even at high magnification.
Apart from this, the phone’s excellent auto-focus and well-controlled panning features make the phone unique from other phones on the list. The phone’s camera is capable of producing wide dynamic range in both photo and video modes.
However, DxOMark’s test found the Mate 50 Pro’s camera to have a balance issue. Again, the new XIMAGE AI processing was also known to be slow in some cases. However, these issues did not stop the phone from taking the top spot with 149 points.
But this top-class camera performance phone does not have 5G and Google Play service. So those who go to buy Mate 50 Pro priced at 1,199 euros, they have to sacrifice 5G and Google Play service.
Meanwhile, Pixel 7 Pro and Honor Magic 4 Ultimate, which are second in the benchmark, do not have this deficiency and are very affordable in terms of price.
